Cannoli are Italian pastries consisting of tube-shaped shells of fried pastry dough, to be filled with a sweet, creamy filling containing ricotta a staple of Sicilian cuisine. In Italy, they are commonly known as cannoli siciliani (Sicilian cannoli).
